$12,935 Raised for Cents for Kids!
Alright, here it is… It’s a long one. 
Our 5th Annual Bowling with the Businesses was completely SOLD OUT this year. Our goal was to raise $12,000 for Cents for Kids…
…and together, our community raised $12,935.
To say we’re grateful would be an understatement.
This program means so much to us because it was created by the incredible staff of Oxford Hills School District MSAD #17. These teachers and staff members already give so much. Buying classroom supplies out of their own pockets, pouring their hearts into our kids every single day, and creating a fund years ago in which they donate a dollar, maybe $2 or $5, from every paycheck to help students who need it most.
That money helps students facing difficult situations, whether it’s a house fire, the loss of a parent, the need for sports equipment, camp tuition, or other opportunities that every child deserves.
So we thought… what if we brought our local businesses together to help FILL that account for our community?
And that’s exactly what happened.

Ryan Ricci is always winning when it comes to supporting Oxford Hills. Your constant dedication to this community never goes unnoticed. Thank you for being part of this event since year one.
We had so many incredible businesses join the fun (and keep up the smack talk). Maine Line Plumbing and Heating LLC (who also does so much for our community) Ackerman Concrete Construction, and many others were right behind our winners. We appreciate every single one of you.
A special shoutout to Oxford SACC, who not only participated but also shared the event with all their families and helped raise over $600. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership.

And of course, a huge thank you to Stars & Strikes Bowling Center. Not only do they host this event every year, but they also raised $600 last night for Cents for Kids. Your family and your business bring so much to our town. From birthday parties to family nights to always stepping up for our community. How lucky are we to have YOU in Oxford Hills?! We are so grateful for this wonderful bowling alley.
Finally, thank you to all 35 businesses that bowled and the 37 businesses that donated.
